The vessel is a 28" double decker pontoon boat. YES you can get out of the sun and the rare rain shower if need be. We typically take you to one of three islands. Travel time to island is about an hour. The islands are preserves, so there are no buildings, roads or cars here. There will probably (depending on time of year) be other people that would have traveled there by boat. It is ALL inshore travel through FLAT waters. No one is getting seasick or scared. The ocean side of the island has the waves. Guests bring their own beverages and food (anything goes!). We have a huge cooler and 60 pounds of ice for every trip. WE have a banging stereo with Sirius Satellite and Bluetooth connectivity. We even have a Hammock on board! Typically, people enjoy their beverages (its BYO Everything), swim in the calm water, enjoy relaxing in the chairs in the water or boat, eat, enjoy time with their family and / or friends go shelling, adventure around the end of the island for incredible ocean views. We offer FUN fishing from the island and supply rods and bait. We have cast nets, dip nets, etc... for our guests to explore the sea life on the island. I teach young and old how to throw a cast net or simply fish from the island in the calm back waters. The four-hour trip gives the crew (YOU) about 2 hours on the island, the three hours about an hour.
